Fragile looks contradict the stalwart and sturdily armored Barite dragon. This breed is clothed in thickets of sharp crystals along the belly and back. A crown of crystalline plates and a tail bristling with with glassy shards protect the smooth hide along its dappled sides. Like most young dragons, this one is practicing breathing techniques that will power a formidable breath weapon one day. Dragonlings series. Graphite on 9 x 5 ½ inch medium weight drawing paper.
