An air of relaxed confidence surrounds the Garnet dragon, giving the impression of languid grace. Don&rsquo t be fooled, this species possesses surprisingly explosive reflexes when they&rsquo re called for. Horns that sweep backward, a dagger-like chin spike, and diagonally overlapping plates down the underside make this dragon formidably defended. Frills on the side of the head may be folded flat against the neck or spread wide depending on the dragon&rsquo s mood. This fledgling has clambered up onto a precipice to practice cupping the breeze in its wings. Gem Dragonlings series. Digital painting reproduced on 11 x 14 inch semi-gloss stock. Hand numbered and signed in gold ink.
