Fantastical Photographic Art

Susan Schroder is a professional photographer as well as both a traditional and digital artist.
 
In my photographic art, I take all of my own original photos of every element in each piece.  
I often shoot on location with a model.  The costuming, hair and make-up effects are all designed and created or applied by me, as well.  
Other times, I may photograph all the elements separately and then combine them to create an original piece of art.  "Summer Whispers" is a good example of this method which I call Photographic Collage.
In post-production, I often hand paint in fantasy effects to complete my creation.
