Séverine Pineaux

Painter and illustrator living near the forest of Broceliande in France, i draw fantastic worlds, inspired by mythology and tales and closed to the celtic culture. With watercolor or oil, i paint poetic visions where the nature is omnipresent. The theme of tree-men, plant- creatures and fabulous animals appears regularly in my art. My work on the enchanted cats brings a touch of sweet humor at this magic universe. I published "Ysambre", "Gothic Faërie", the " Secret Book of the Cats", " Smiles and Cats" and of several other books. I exhibit regularly in France and in England, Belgium, USA, Russia, Japan, Germany. Some of my art works are shown in the collection of the Naïa Museum in France and in the Fantasmus Foundation in Denmark...
