Lee Dawn is a freelance illustrator and designer currently based in the Sacramento area. She works primarily in fantasy book covers, tabletop gaming, and middle grade children&rsquo s books, but has a passion for any project with elements of the magical and unusual. She creates her detailed and luminous illustrations in watercolor, gouache, and colored pencils. Her inspiration draws from folklore around the world, medieval history, and nature. When not creating illustrations for herself or for clients, Lee can also be found peddling her wares at various conventions, drinking espresso by the pot, or hiking in dubiously hike-able locations.
