Description
My cover illustration for the Indonesian edition of Jonathan Stroud's Bartimaeus Sequence Book I: The Amulet of Samarkand, published by Gramedia Publishing. I'm always excited to illustrate books that I personally enjoy and this is definitely one of them. I had a ton of fun designing the magic circle, slipping in a few spell of my own making. I also tried to emulate the relationship between Barty and Nathan in the cover, the former being very mischievous and the latter overtly serious and often bullied by Barty, hence the pose of him rudely leaning on Nathan's head.
