Location: Nottingham, EnglandPrickle-wick is a hand sculpted one off creation or art doll. He is built from Smooth-On Epoxy Sculpt over a wire armature which give him strength and flexibility and the core of his body is rag wrapped to give him bulk whilst remaining light. Over this I build up layers of clothing and accessories to give him the desired look and feel. in this case I also added a hand made conker shell hat made from air drying clay as its porous feel was closer to the real thing. With all my creations I try to make them look as if they could be part of nature and as believable as possible
