Description
Death's Transcendence was a piece created to express the transition from life to death. In folklore stories the sparrow is said to be a guide from life to another plane. They are not the reaper but the guides that help you on your way. White chrysanthemums and roses symbolize purity, innocence and are traditional for funerals, but notice the Lily of the Valley on the right side which is a symbol of rebirth. Death is a transition, not an end. When we lose someone close to us we grieve their loss in our lives but their spirits live on through our memories of them.
