Description
A fantasy on an obscure footnote, a portion of a letter written by a medieval French knight while he was in distant lands fighting his perceived enemies. Historically of little importance, but I started wondering about the mindset and psyche of someone so distant in time and sensibilities, someone to whom supernatural entities were very present if not-quite-tangible, and who was constantly preoccupied with the invisible threats he believed hovered around him at all times.
