Description
red flower is part of my current explorations on the contrast between organic and synthetic.
I have fun with pixels, without doing typical 'pixel art'. I sometimes refer to my current work as imitation pixel, or faux pixel: what first appears as one big pixel is actually a bunch of many smaller pixels, often of different shades. Pixels are currently one of the major elements of texture -- visual rhythm -- in my artwork.
