The Faustition theme for these entries is based on the book "Historie of the Damnable Life and deserved death of Dr John Faustus" 1552, most folks might relate this content more toward Goethe's or Marlow's work on Faust. In this work the Doctor is contemplating the pact with the Spirit of Progress for his soul in exchange for youth and riches to seduce an young village woman that he has found himself lusting after. The Spirit of Progress sees lust as Doctor Faustus' key short coming to entice him into signing the pact and winning a wager that he has made with god.
