For many people in the creative fields, the idea of the muse is profound and significant. This series pays homage and gratitude to our muses for their years of inspiration and also explores the idea of the many faces of the muse - the many ways in which inspiration manifests. “Oneira,” a collaborative sculpture by Colin and Kristine Poole, represents the artist’s muse manifesting herself through dreams. As many of our inspirations come from dreams and our dreams often are filled with water imagery, ‘Oneira,’ Greek for ‘dream,’ is textured with real and imagined sea creatures.
