This is a barbarian-monster I have imagined, ravaging everything in its path, inspired design of several things: Portraits of Archimboldo painter, Marilyn Manson (who has eaten too much McDonald's), the character designs of Gerald Brom, Adrian Smith, Karl Kopinski, artist whom I love and admire the work. And finally, this character is also inspired from the Executioner, in the 1st episod of "300" film, like the Michelin's Bibendum, the mascot of Michelin. Michelin, who collaborated with the Nazis during the Second World War, without any qualms. I did this illustration in black and white for the fanzine of a friend, a great artist too: Boris Robin. His fanzine is "The Bibendoom Fanzine". https://www.facebook.com/maguzine/?fref=ts And here is my private joke : This is "Dark Fantasy Obelix", who is able to easily destroy an army by himself ravaging the landscape on his way ! wink So I tried to combine Darkness and Humor in the same image !
