Description

Painting from a serie made over large format reproductions of drawings eagle felt Poska, Tria and ink pen on pictures of hairdressing magazine models. This series is followed by a series of some original drawings, sometimes retouched on Photoshop. The concept of this series to claim the too artificiality of these photos systematically retouched models we see in magazines, subway stations, bus stops, in the street ... which is imposed on us as a reality that must absorb and that women should look like. This hypocrisy, this fiction, this excessive artifice, I pushed it to the extreme and I translated by portraits of women cyborgs, as if I were to reveal also, what lies beneath the skin these artificial models. Finally these artworks are against the dispossession of the female body by the consumerist industry.
