About Joerg Schlonies

Joerg Schlonies is a freelance fantasy character designer & concept artist and the  founder of "doJoerch - Fantasy Art Studio" in Darmstadt/Germany

Joerg loves to create fantasy characters with personality. With conceptual sketches he always shows his creatures in the environment there were created for.  Besides his commission work Joerg is doing a lot of personal projects like art & sketch books or he is sculpting strange fantasy figures at his little Art Studio with clay or digital tools.Additionally to his illustration work Joerg is also active as lecturer for traditional pen drawing techniques and digital painting.

Besides his degree for Illustration from the institute of art and art therapie Bochum (IBKK) Joerg also holds a engineer's degree for mechanical engineering of the technical university Ilmenau/Germany.
