About Nicole Grosjean

Nicole Grosjean grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, with a deep passion for art, nature and everything fantasy. She attended Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in Denver, Colorado and graduated with a BFA in Illustration in 2008. Her sculptural illustrations are created from layers of cut paper, painted in watercolor and gouache. She combines her passions for fantasy and craftsmanship into unique works of art. Nicole builds pieces that are not only illustrations, but wonderfully complex environments in their own right. She is constantly trying new techniques and pushing the boundaries of materials and mediums.
