About Joleen Flasher

Joleen Flasher is a Boston-based freelance artist and engineer. Her subject matter ranges from traditional figurative works to robotic frogs, dragons, and the macabre. Working mostly in oils and watercolors, Joleen seeks to to incorporate dynamic lighting and textures into her work to produce truly luminous images that bring the viewer into the picture. Much of the inspiration for her personal work feeds from both her day job as an engineer and her love of costuming, design, and nature.
