About Josh Pemberton

   I was born in Concord Massachusetts, and grew up in Shoreline, Washington.  I received my BFA in Studio Art from Reed College, spent three years studying foundations at the Drawing & Painting Atelier at Gage Academy, and received my MFA in Illustration at the Academy of Art University.  In addition, I have attended/studied at the Illustration Master Class.  My work is in the narrative realist tradition and the mythical, spiritual, natural, and fantastic hold my interest.
