The Flower Queens Daughter, found in the Yellow Fairy Book, centers around a fairy princess who, supposedly, is held captive by a dragon. When the rescuing prince arrives, he learns that the dragon is holed up in the mountain for his yearly sleep, but that daughter of the the Flower Queen may be found on the next mountain, attending the nightly balls of the mother dragon.
