BORN OF LIGHT is one of my fantasy spacescapes that includes ghostly space cetaceans, dolphins and other oceanic creatures. The subject of this one is the Orion Nebula photographed through a blue filter...and looking very much like the ocean. I have a love of combining the emptiness of space and our oceanic world here on Earth.
