Projects: Marianne has produced the Illuxcon Costume Salon and Sketch Lab' for three consecutive years at IX and has planned a series of paintings based on her extensive reference photos and thumbnail sketches taken throughout both events.

This is my first foray into painting the figure in well over a decade. My technique has improved beyond imagination since my last attempts. John Singer Sargent, Richard Schmidt, and Jia Liu are current favourite artistic influences for my sojourn.
