Some of these include a 'balloon ship' tethered or flying free that suggests occupancy, but no visible occupant can be seen...therefore allowing the viewer to subconsciously put themselves into the painting as part of whatever venture is taking place in the image. By bending the 'rules' of physics, I'm allowing the inner visionary/explorer/imagination of the viewer to push against the self-imposed boundaries that human society constricts itself with as a children mature into adults, and permit the viewer the freedom of wide latitudes of 'What if...?' imaginings again. Haven't you ever wanted to camp on an asteroid with a magical view of a cosmic fireworks show, a Nebula that fills the senses and the imagination?
