Description
As a father of young children, most of my working hours -- aka when I have time to paint and work on my commissions -- is between 10 PM and 3 AM. It's quiet, no one needs me for anything, and I can focus on my art. Except I'm always so very tired. This painting -- the one personal piece I had time for this year, as part of a WOW x WOW show in October -- meditates on the void of exhaustion that I feel follows me almost everywhere, as I try and do good work and take care of my small people as best I can.
